According to TalkSPORT reports, Manchester United is ready to let Sancho leave the team on a free basis.

Last month, Sancho was substituted as a substitute in Aston Villa's game against Manchester City and then was substituted early. He has yet to start for Villa this season.

Since his public falling out with his former coach Ten Hag in August 2023, Sancho has never played in a league game for Manchester United.

Sancho's contract with Manchester United will expire next summer, but Manchester United has an option to extend it for one year to protect the player's transfer value.

However, according to TlkSPORT, Manchester United is now more inclined to stop losses completely, rather than bear a high salary of about 200,000 pounds per week for another year to preserve value.
