Someone asked Dr. Yang Zhenning about his 100-year-old life. Yang Zhenning replied that apart from his mother's good genes, he was walking thousands of steps every day, which made him more sensitive and did not become a young person in scientific research. Doctors of Medicine briefly discussed the effects of walking every day, believing that walking can stimulate creativity. Our personal little contribution is not only to walk thousands of steps a day, but also encourage the clone to talk loudly with his brain while walking ……

1 What is artificial intelligence?

Many scientific and technological laymen do not understand a lot, and we call it jargon. Most of these slugs have nothing to do with the lives of ordinary people. But occasionally a few scientific languages will penetrate into our daily language, becoming an invisible and non-existent jamb.

Two recent junctions have achieved such special status, one is large data and the other is AI. Whether it is a scholar or a civilian, they always say that they are big data or AI, and they will be hurt by these two ties if they are frozen. Moreover, people follow the crowd, and who can't figure out what it means, and listeners are not good at judging or dare not correct it.

Change to Lin Yutang's famous saying, the popular language changes year by year just like the length of a woman's skirt, so it may not be corrected. But since we want to talk about AI and old age, we must first explain what the AI I talk about actually means.

AI is the first letter of the two words Artificial Intelligence in English, so it is the minification of "artificial intelligence". The former richest man in Taiwan, Terry Gou, participated in the first choice of the National People's Party, and was convicted in the deducted program. A "commoner" called in and caused the hardships of the people to become more and more terrible. If Guo Taiyan heard it, he could only laugh and cry.

So, what does AI mean?

When it comes to AI, we must not think of robots playing chess, crazy Siri becoming your good companion, or automatically driving cars, etc. So some people advocated the name correction, not talking about AI but replaced it with Machine Intelligence, which is "machine intelligence".

The machine intelligence is more accurate, but how could there be an AI statement at the beginning? The opposite of "artificial intelligence" is "Natural Intelligence", so AI is compared to natural intelligence. Since people have natural wisdom, the wisdom of machines is artificial intelligence. Is this statement correct? Is it hard to be born with wisdom?

The answer is obviously "not necessarily!" Some wisdom seems to be innate, such as identifying other people's faces, without special learning. When the king of the Nanjin king was born, he could distinguish each other from each other. But it is not the case if you recognize the word, especially in Chinese. Machines do not know how to understand words, and people do not understand them too, and they must go through long-term learning.

Most situations, whether it is a human or a machine, must slowly explore and learn to gain wisdom. If natural wisdom is said to be "being born to know", then artificial intelligence is "learning to know" or even "being confused". The wisdom I gained step by step is what I call a broad artificial intelligence.

So not only machines need artificial intelligence, but also humans need artificial intelligence!

I call the broad artificial intelligence "slow wisdom" or simply "slow wisdom". I call this kind of system "slow wisdom system" or "slow wisdom system". The slow intelligence system can be composed of humans or machines, and it is more likely to be a slow intelligence system that is symbiotic with humans and machines.

The ideal human-machine symbiotic slow intelligence system not only increases the artificial intelligence of the machine, but also increases the artificial intelligence of humans, and the two complement each other. Such a slow intelligence system will be of great help to the lives of the elderly, and this is the topic I want to discuss today.

might as well bring a controversial example of artificial stupidity: nowadays, the collections on highways are replaced by machines. Not only did the unemployment rate increase, but the replaced collectors lacked the skills to commit crimes, such as going to a bank. Automation systems sometimes lack flexibility and do not consider the social costs of automation, causing more social problems, let alone information being mastered. Is this artificial intelligence or artificial stupidity?

Artificial intelligence not only designs machines to solve people's problems, but also includes people slowly changing their ideas, becoming more intelligent people, and working with similarly intelligent robots to solve people's problems.

2  How do British people die? The question of vulgar old people

How do British people die? What is the relationship with us? There is nothing much to do with

. We don't care about how British people die, just as British people don't care about how Taiwanese people die.

But do you know? Most British people die like this (CNN.COM July 2019):

Death in hospital     45.4%

Death in home     23.7%

Death in nursing home   22.5%

Others                 8.3%

In a different sentence, most British people die in hospitals, followed by their homes, and then their nursing homes. It's not that British people don't want to die at home, but that the environment is so necessary. In 2013, I had a small car, and a drunk driver hit the car I was riding from behind. My spine cracked, but fortunately it was not completely shattered.

At first, the doctor used a steel rack to fix my head, hoping that the broken spine would slowly recover. I became a science freak, very painful and couldn't fall asleep at night. But a week later, the doctor observed that my spine was not only not well-behaved, but was even more curved and deformed. If this continues, you will never straighten your back.

This doctor's surname is Li, and is from Korean. He is young but very confident. His wife is from Chinese. Dr. Li suggested that I open the knife and implant a shelf of pine alloy to lift the spine. He confessed to me that if the surgery is likely to fail, I will get into trouble. But Dr. Li said that he has not failed in surgery yet. I thought about it for one night and decided to do surgery.

The surgery was successful and I was discharged from the hospital soon. On the day I was discharged from the hospital, my friend who was discharged took me straight to Tiantiansu Noodle Museum and immediately ordered a small pot of big fastener. Unexpectedly, we met Dr. Li and his whole family in the noodle hall, and we laughed at each other.

But my spine still hurts every day and is inconvenient to walk. What's even more troublesome is that the drunk who hit me was protected, but it was the most sequel. The insurance company played too much fist on me and refused to pay any fees. I had to pack my own lift chairs so that I could work in the second floor. In addition, you are looking for a lawyer to sue the other party. This lawyer was good. He had been having a dispute with the other party’s insurance company for half a year. The other party recognized a large amount of money, and the lawyer and I were in the same position. If you rely solely on yourself, you may not be able to get a penny!

Although I often go to the hospital for rehabilitation, the hospital's rehabilitation department is very stubborn, and the second is that it is inconvenient to drive by myself, and rehabilitation does not have much effect. What should I do? I remembered that Dr. Li asked me to walk more, so I set a goal for myself, no matter how I had to take 10,000 steps every day. Walking is a very gentle movement, and the good thing is that everyone can do it. If I persisted, my condition improved greatly in one month or two months. It has been six years now, and my spine has basically no pain, but I still keep walking thousands of steps a day.

Our personal little contribution is not only to walk thousands of steps a day, but also encourage the clone to talk loudly with his brain while walking.

In order to prevent the elderly from being stunned, neuroscientist Amen advocates three treasures: walking every day, listening to music frequently, and taking medicine to nourish the brain. You should keep a happy mood. When walking, you might as well think about the happy time you spend with your loved ones and friends, because love makes people feel refreshed. In fact, love and hatred both revive people, so if no one loves you, as long as someone hates you, you can achieve the same effect.

Another experience (that is, wisdom) is that everything depends on oneself. I knew no one could help me with my illness, and I didn’t want to rely on others, so I practiced everything myself, from washing clothes to bedding and burning. From the past, Lu Xun had two poems:

The cold eyebrows pointed at thousands of people, and I was willing to be a child ox

I changed four words:

The cold eyebrows pointed at the boss, and I was willing to be a deity ox

We are all too proud and unwilling to serve ourselves with low heads and always rely on others. In my imagination, I can divide myself into two, and the same person is both the Lord and the servant. I can first become a chef to prepare dishes, then become the owner enjoys the chef to prepare dishes, and then turn into a servant to clean up the kitchen. My clone is my own deity’s cow, and I have tried to hire someone to do it, and I have worked hard to rely on my family.

There are also many things that cannot be completely relied on machines. For example, I installed a lifting chair on the stairs, but I didn't expect that the inner side of the lifting chair could not be cleaned with any machine device. You can only wipe it slowly with a rag on your own. However, once you accept the concept of "being willing to be the cow of one's deity", regard these as a kind of movement, not only will it not be difficult, but it will be better for the body.

My example seems to have nothing to do with artificial intelligence, but it is actually very related. Because I keep learning how to adapt to my body's limitations. The machines I use, whether they are high-tech or low-tech machines, must also be subject to my physical limitations. This is true artificial intelligence!

6  Conclusion

As mentioned earlier, I will summarize: Artificial intelligence not only designs machines to solve people's problems, but also includes people slowly changing their ideas, becoming wiser people, and cooperating with machines to solve people's problems. This view is especially important for improving the lives of the elderly, because our focus is on people, not machines. But from another perspective, the commercial machines brought by elderly artificial intelligence such as slow intelligence systems and slow intelligence robots are endless!
