According to British media London Football Network, if Arsenal decides to expand the Emirates Stadium, it may temporarily move to Wembley Stadium. The expansion plan for Emirates Stadium has become a topic of discussion for several seasons, and ticket demand is currently at an all-time high. Tickets for Arsenal's home game are sold out regularly, and the waiting list for the new season ticket is believed to have exceeded 100,000.

Only a very small proportion of season tickets are released to the next applicant on the queue list each year. The club has imposed new penalties on season ticket holders who have not fully utilized their season tickets, or who have not placed their seats on the ticketing exchange system when they are unable to watch the game (this system allows those who have lost their lottery to buy empty seats).

It is reported that the plan to expand the capacity of Emirates Stadium to more than 70,000 people is currently purely speculative. There are many discussions on potential plans for stadium renovation, but it is believed that it has not yet been penetrated or even formed a clear direction.

However, such transformations will require a long, large-scale construction project that cannot be simply completed during the season break. Arsenal need to find a temporary home court during the renovation period, and Wembley Stadium became the most obvious choice.

Tottenham Hotspur once used Wembley Stadium as a temporary home court and moved out of White Hart Lane during the construction of the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. This means that the team needs to continue to "distance games" to some extent. Although there is a large number of fans supporting it on the spot, it is still impossible to get a truly familiar atmosphere at home.

Tottenham Hotspur team reporter Alasdair Gold said: "It was indeed the case in the early days, because every opponent was eager to play at the National Stadium, which was like a holiday feast for them, and everyone wanted to show their best form."

"Spurs finally adapted to the environment and won many important victories here, especially the Champions League victory against Real Madrid. One of Pochettino's greatest achievements was to lead the team to win the top 4 consecutive Premier League places during two years of wandering."

"Spurs may have also learned a lot of experience in building new stadiums during Wembley's station. Given that the White Hart Lane Stadium was a solid fortress at the end, and the National Stadium stands were far away from the stadium, it was difficult to create the same atmosphere except for important game nights."

Arsenal recently appointed Otto Marley to the board of directors and several other new members after Tim Lewis left the management. Marley has been involved in the construction project of the Los Angeles Rams SoFi Stadium. Another new non-executive director, David Steiner, has long served as an advisor to Kroenke Sports Entertainment Group and has further experience in the real estate sector.
